Ennui on a Umami PastoraleSince blogging exists solely to be self-promoting, I thought I'd offer up a (crappy) glimpse of my newest, favorite hobby: collage--specifically, the up-and-coming, and most misunderstood genre-- the meat collage. The cell phone picture doesn't do it justice, but this woman is apathetically waiting for her impending doom, but by what meat?
I know my lovely and most rational (tm) friend, frauline helgie, is dying to start collaging and will be happy to know that I've ordered up dozens of half smokes from Ben's Chili Bowl and extra bottles of Mod-Podge for her visit in May. I just hope she's not too upset when I make her glue the dogs to canvass and not her carcass.
